Yorkminster Presbyterian Church is looking for an enthusiastic individual, with a heart for Jesus
and serving the church, to connect children, youth, and families in a community where they can learn to glorify God, grow in spiritual maturity, serve as Jesus did, and join in God’s mission to the world. The Director of Family Life will tend to the spiritual growth of children, students and their families through a variety of programs and offerings such as small groups, youth group, Sunday School, retreats, Family Gatherings, VBS and mission opportunities. This person will work closely with the Pastor and the rest of the staff to provide leadership for volunteers serving in Family Ministry and will recruit, train and oversee a team of adult lay leaders who serve hands-on with our children, students and families. In addition, the Director will work to keep our commitment to families fresh and relevant by regularly evaluating and renewing the vision and purpose of Family Ministry.
