Val Murphy Annual Event Offering

To honor Val’s dedication and contributions to Christian education, we invite event participants to contribute to the Val Murphy Offering at the 2024 APCE Annual Event. Val’s love for nurturing disciples lives on through your Annual Event donations: in the scholarship recipients who experience the Annual Event; in the local mission project (see information about the 2024 local mission project); and in the continued mission of APCE’s diversity initiatives, to build a more just and equitable organization and influence the faith communities we serve. The Val Murphy Annual Event Offering – is shared between a local mission project (25%) and scholarships (75%). This year’s local mission project is the Oasis Women’s Center, which provides emergency shelter and supportive services to victims of domestic violence. 
This offering will be received in person during the Annual Event or you may include your donation here.

Scholarship Fund Donation

APCE strives to support those involved in Christian formation ministry in the quest to develop skills, new ideas, share resources, and serve Christ through the church. What better way to encourage growth in those involved in Christian formation ministry than to provide assistance in attending the Annual Event each year where numerous workshops are offered, challenging keynote speakers are heard, and networks of colleagues are formed? With the appropriate funding, APCE can offer up to forty scholarships for individuals to attend the Annual Event each year. Your help is needed to build the Scholarship Fund from which these scholarships are given.

Endowment Fund Donation

Giving to the Endowment Fund is a gift that lives on. When we invest in the future, we assure that those involved in Christian formation ministry are connected, enriched, and empowered to carry out their educational ministries. Honoring and remembering one of our own by giving to the Endowment Fund is a gift of love.
