Her training and experience in early childhood education became the impetus for her to create and launch two highly successful nonprofit preschools\, and eventually led to a call to serve as a Christian educator. Stephanie has served several churches in the Denver area\, as well as a resource center\, and she currently serves as the Associate Coordinator for Christian Formation in the Presbyterian Mission Agency in Louisville. \nStephanie’s educational background is in early childhood education and organizational management with an emphasis in Christian leadership\, and her leadership is clearly recognized by many throughout APCE and the PC(USA). She has served as a POINT representative and as the Rocky Mountain Region representative with APCE. She served seven years as a member of the APCE Annual Event Team\, five as Moderator. She has served as the moderator of the General Assembly Special Committee to Study the Reformed Perspective of Christian Education in the 21st Century. She now staffs this committee as the liaison from the Presbyterian Mission Agency. \nStephanie seeks to empower educators to be more engaged\, more creative\, more imaginative\, more effective in ministry\, and to empower the church in all its forms to be more attentive to and aware of the tremendous gift Christian educators are to the church. Stephanie empowers all of us to be better educators\, to be better advocates for ourselves and others\, and to be better Christians.\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Agenda\n*October 5 – Those seeking Certification in PCUSA Program & Mission will begin on this date \nMonday\, Oct 51:00 – 3:00 Opening Session for those seeking Certification (pre-session 1)3:00 – 4:00 Break4:00 – 5:30 Certification Session (pre-session 2) \nTuesday\, Oct 69:00 – 9:30 Introductions & Opening Devotional (APTS- Dr. Bridgett Green)9:30-11:00 Dipping into the Well of PCUSA Resources – Session 1Matthew 25 Vision and the mission priorities of the Presbyterian Mission Agency11:00–1:00 Lunch Break1:00 – 2:30 Dipping into the Well of PCUSA Resources – Session 2Forming lifelong disciples who are grounded in the reformed tradition and equipped for evangelism.3:00 – 4:30 Presbyterian Publishing Corporation Presentation5:00 – 6:00 Virtual Happy Hour – SCRAPCE Meeting \nWednesday\, Oct 79:00 – 11:00 Dipping into the Well of PCUSA Resources – Session 3Forming lifelong disciples who are equipped to be peacemakers and witnesses to the world.11:00 –11:30 Scripture and Prayer Time11:45 – 12:45 Lunch and JackBox online games (or visit in a Chat Room)12:45 – 2:00 Break2:00 – 3:30 Dipping into the Well of PCUSA Resources – Session 4Forming lifelong disciples who engage the reformed tradition to work towards justice and equity for all God’s people.3:30 – 4:00 Wrap up and Closing Worship \nEach session will include a video presentation followed by a panel discussion and small group breakout sessions.Event Leader: Stephanie Fritz\, Associate Coordinator for Christian Formation at the Presbyterian Mission Agency \n* Note: Certification students will be required to attend the Monday afternoon sessions and the Presentation by the Presbyterian Publishing Corporation.
