Bites on Beale

Looking for an option for dinner?

Join APCE friends and Memphians Keith and Katie Cole for a walk and nosh on world famous Beale Street. Just a couple of blocks from the Peabody Hotel, Beale Street, developed in 1841, is steeped in blues and jazz history, and it’s also known for its iconic food. We’ll stop at four anchors to nibble on their specialties while we enjoy getting to know each other and hearing about Beale Street’s history. Blues City Cafe, BB Kings Cafe, Silky Sullivan’s, and Dinstuhl’s Candy are on our list.

The cost is $60 per person and covers food, taxes, gratuities, and the history tour. Alcoholic drinks will be available for purchase.

Keith, immediate past Executive Director of the Wolf River Conservatory, and Katie, retired, successful financial advisor, have eaten and judged their way through the south and beyond, starting with the renowned Memphis in May BBQ Festival.
