DIRECTOR OF CHILDREN’S AND FAMILY MINISTRIES

Our church is currently searching for a Director of Children’s and Family Ministries. One who wishes to apply for this position must be a professing Christian with an understanding of, or a willingness to learn, Presbyterian/Reformed Theology; a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is preferred with study emphasis on Christian Education teaching, counseling, psychology and/or theology preferred. They will lead a children and young adult’s discipleship program designed to develop young Christians who appreciate and engage Christ’s call to discipleship, and desire to live and work for the Kingdom of God, and will provide faith development and support to families of the church and in the broader community. Prior experience working with children and families is preferred.
The Director of Children’s and Family Ministries is under the direction of co-pastors with input and evaluation by the Christian Education Ministry, Camp Ministries, and the Personnel Ministry. The position is a salaried, full-time position with starting salary of $45,000 – $55,000, depending on experience, with a comprehensive benefits package.
