Director of Christian Education and Children’s Ministry

First Presbyterian Church, Moultrie, GA is seeking a full-time Director of Christian Education to join the church staff, working with the congregation as we seek to serve and share the love of Jesus Christ. This position combines the ministry responsibilities for the Director of Christian Education (DCE) and the Director of Children’s Ministries (DCM). In addition, the Director of Christian Education will serve in a supervisory role for the Director of Youth Ministries. The search committee is open to discussions with candidates who might want to further combine this position by adding the role of Director of Youth Ministries.
The DCE has primary responsibility for the congregation’s educational ministries, including Sunday morning classes, Children’s Church, and WATCH (Wednesday’s at The CHurch), as well as other special educational events and activities.
Children’s Ministry responsibilities will engage the DCE in a broad range of ministry activities for children from birth through upper elementary ages by organizing and leading regular fellowship activities for children and their families, and special annual events like VBS, Fall Festival, and the Advent Festival.
