First Presbyterian is looking for a dynamic, highly relational, and passionate Youth Director to join our team. As a pivotal member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a lasting impact, shaping the lives of youth and nurturing their relationship with God.

What you’ll be doing:
• Developing and leading weekly programs for middle and high school students
• Planning, coordinating, and overseeing special student events such as annual retreats, conferences, trips, small groups, and service projects
• Fostering and maintaining relationships to equip youth, as well as their families
• Creating a compelling culture and environment that draws in middle and high school students in our community
• Helping students and adult leaders discover their gifts and connecting them to service opportunities within the church or in the community
• Creating a safe and nurturing environment where young people can learn, grow, and develop
• Providing guidance and mentorship to youth to help them to reach their individual goals as you train them to develop their faith and learn about themselves.

First Presbyterian Church of Greenwood SC is a congregation of 300 located in a rural community setting in the South Carolina Upstate Region. Job Type: Full-time and part time opportunities are being explored
Pay: Part time- $25,000- $30,000 or Full time: $38,000-$45,000
Benefits: benefits differ between full and part time hires.
Schedule: Flexible, Wednesday nights and Weekend availability is required
Ability to commute/relocate: Greenwood, SC 29646: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Education: High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience: Working with youth: 1 year (Preferred)
