First Miami Presbyterian Church is a vibrant, multi-ethnic church in the heart of Miami, Florida. About the Ministry
Middle school and high school students meet weekly as the First Miami Youth Group. Students make new friends, play games, enjoy food together, and hear a message that connects faith with real life.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong commitment to their own spiritual journey and a willingness to collaborate with church leadership to align youth initiatives with the overall mission and values of the church.
Key Responsibilities
The director of youth ministries will:
Lead and equip a team of youth ministry interns and volunteers who share ownership of the ministry.
Develop and implement a comprehensive youth ministry program that nurtures the spiritual growth of young people.
Build and maintain relationships with youth and their families, providing pastoral care and support as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree.
Proven experience working with youth in a ministry or similar setting.
An enthusiastic and energetic approach to youth ministry, with the ability to engage and inspire young people.
Bilingual (preferred).
