Interim Associate Pastor or Coordinator for Faith Formation

The Presbyterian Church, Fredericksburg, seeks a full-time Interim Associate Pastor for Faith Formation (or Faith Formation Coordinator) to serve our congregation for an anticipated one-year term beginning in Fall 2025. The ideal candidate will work with our recently hired Head of Staff, as well as with our other part-time staff and volunteers, to nurture the spiritual growth of people of all ages through leadership and coordination of our faith formation ministries. Key responsibilities include overseeing our intergenerational Living in Faith Together (LIFT) program, facilitating weekly and seasonal studies, supporting youth ministry and special events, and exploring new opportunities for spiritual development. The position also includes regular participation in worship leadership, contributions to pastoral care, and collaboration with staff and committees in shared ministry. This interim role is ideal for someone with a strong theological background and a passion for Christian education.
