Reports to: Director of Commission on Congregational Development
Status: Part time (20hrs/wk)
Position Overview: The Youth Ministry Specialist(s) work to enhance, support, connect and develop capacity in congregations around youth/young adult ministry and development through direct engagement, resource sharing and administration of faith formation, pastoral care and administrative support at the provincial level. This is an outward facing position with approx. 50% of the time spent seeking opportunities to meet with youth/young adult groups and individuals, leaders, boards, committees, etc. to support local programming and infrastructure.
There are two openings for this position. One will be based in Winston-Salem/Forsyth County. One will be based in the Florida Georgia District.
