GLAPCE 2025 Fall Event – Living in Transitional Times

WHERE: Lindenwood Conference & Retreat Center, near Plymouth, IN
WHO: All who are involved with Christian Education/Faith Formation in any way are invited — pastors, educators, committee members, staff and volunteers alike! You don’t need to be a member of APCE to attend this event.
WHAT:
Workshops with Guest Speaker Carol McDonald

- Explore transitions in our personal lives, faith communities, cultures, and in Scripture.
- Conversations to help ground and equip us for transition, so that we can help guide those in our ministries through times of change and transition. No matter what age or type of group you work with most, change affects all people.
- Opportunities to listen, reflect, interact, and plan how to apply material in your context
- Meaningful Worship times, including communion together on Thursday
- Sabbath rest time on Wednesday afternoon with a variety of options:
- tours of the farm on campus
- indoor and outdoor stations of the cross
- self-guided tours of the campus
- an outdoor labyrinth
- walking paths; or a nap, reading, your own project — the time is yours!

GUEST SPEAKER: Carol McDonald is an honorably retired Minister of Word and Sacrament in the Presbyterian Church USA (PCUSA). Before her retirement, she served at the congregational level, as well as in a variety of presbytery, synod and general assembly positions in the PCUSA: Christian Education Consultant, Associate Executive for Program, Presbytery Moderator, Associate Executive for Geneva Center, Synod Executive , and various committees for the General Assembly.
