ENRICH – Educator of the Year – Dr. Rebecca L. Davis

Criteria for the ENRICH Educator of the Year Award: Nominees must be in full time professional service and fulfill three out of the following four criteria: Five or more years of membership in APCE or our partner denominations’ educational organizations. Active in Christian education leadership for a minimum of ten years, non-retired. Visionary, a leader into new frontiers. Formative influence on educational ministry and an advocate for church educators.

SUSTAIN – Life Achievement – Forrest Palmer

Criteria for the SUSTAIN Life Achievement Award: Nominees must be retired from full time professional service and fulfill the following criteria: Fifteen or more years of membership in APCE or our partner denominations’ educational organizations. Creative and/or distinguished accomplishments in educational ministry. Faithful and effective service to the church and profession. Past or present member of the APCE Cabinet, Coordinating Council, or the Leadership Council.

EMPOWER – Deborah Wendell

Criteria for the EMPOWER Award: Nominees are considered using some or all of the following: Has served in educational ministry for more than five years Is currently serving as a volunteer or professional in educational ministries. Has demonstrated their ability to delegate and empower others. Is a visionary, breaking into new frontiers. Has the ability to influence change within systems
