One of the goals of the Awards and Scholarship Ministry Team is to help more people attend the annual event, thus no one person may receive an award and a scholarship for the same event. Therefore, applicants will ordinarily receive one scholarship or award a year. Members of the selection committee, Coordinating Council, and their immediate families are not eligible for a scholarship, nor are workshop leaders who receive discounted registration for the Annual Event.
APCE is committed to having ministry leaders from a wide variety of ministry contexts attend the annual event. We are focused on ensuring that leaders who are from small churches and communities of color can attend the event, especially those who have little to no continuing education funds.
New scholarship funds are available to attend the 2020 Annual Event in Little Rock, Arkansas!
These scholarship funds are specifically for attendees who are members of or serve the PC(USA). Scholarship information is on the website (apcenet.org), and anyone interested can apply. The application can be found online with descriptions of types of scholarships and is due by October 14, 2019. Applicants may apply for registration only or registration with lodging.
Preference will be given to people of color and those with little to no continuing education funds.
