We will explore strategies for creating an intergenerational mentoring culture that goes beyond program to create organic, life-giving congregational communities where coaching and mentoring engagement becomes a way of being and a blessing for for all ages. We will talk about how to look at participants’ own church cultures and why creating a culture of mentoring is more sustainable than a programmatic approach. Finally, we will look at the particular needs of Gen Z and emerging adults, as well as those who are in the third third of their faith journey, and how mentoring supports the spiritual needs of both these groups.
