King Moravian Church seeks a passionate Director of Christian Education to lead comprehensive ministry programs across all generations. This full-time position offers the opportunity to shape spiritual formation for children, youth, and adults in a vibrant, growing congregation.
The Role
Develop and implement engaging Christian education programs, including Sunday School, youth groups, confirmation classes, VBS, and Senior Friends programming. Lead intergenerational experiences, coordinate seasonal events and mission trips, and provide Children’s Messages during worship. Recruit and supervise volunteers, manage Safe Sanctuary compliance, and collaborate with pastoral leadership to align programming with our mission.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Christian Education, Theology, Ministry, or related field
Minimum 3 years experience working with children (seminary or early childhood education background preferred)
Deep Christian faith with passion for nurturing spiritual growth across all ages
Strong organizational skills and collaborative leadership style
Ability to develop creative, engaging programs using interactive activities and technology
