Director of Youth Ministries

We are requesting resumes from interested individuals for this position. The Director of Youth Ministries provides spiritual leadership and development for Youth (middle school and high school) working closely with the Director of Congregational Life and Senior Pastor. They must be committed to ongoing relationships by displaying strong faith, being openly mission-focused, being a team player and encouraging feedback. The following attributes are necessary:
-Proven leadership and and organizational skills
-Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with people from diverse backgrounds (volunteers, staff, members, youth, parents)
-Proficiency in technology and communication tools used by youth ages 12 and older.
-Must be available for limited travel, irregular hours and reside in proximity to the Wake Forest area.
-Manage annual youth budget, including but not limited to, trip registrations and deposits, participant payments and refunds, expenses for materials and transportation, and reimbursement to volunteers.
-Organize and manage all aspects of youth trips and retreats, including chaperones, transportation, expenses and participant needs.
