Wake Forest Presbyterian Church has an opening for the Director of Youth Ministry. This is a full-time (40 hours weekly) position with a combination of office and remote work capability. The Director of Youth Ministry provides spiritual leadership and development for Youth (middle and high school) working closely with the Director of Congregational Life. They are expected to display strong faith, be Christ centered and Spirit led. It will be important to have leadership ability in their job performance and relationship building skills with youth, parents, church members and staff. Excellent organization skills and the ability to plan and execute youth programs, retreats and mission activities will be extremely important. Knowledge and proficiency in the use of technology and communications tools will be necessary to communicate with youth. They will plan and administer the annual calendar, budget and associated fundraisers to support youth ministry. This position also manages the annual youth budget including trip registrations and deposits, participant payments, and expenses for materials, retreat transportation and reimbursement to volunteers.
