Sherry Bray is the Executive Director of First Light Shelter in Birmingham, Alabama. Sherry received her Bachelor
of Social Work Degree from the University of Montevallo. She later received her Master’s Degree in Social Work
from the University of Alabama Tuscaloosa, and in 2019, she received her Master’s Degree in Public
Administration. Sherry is also an adjunct professor at the University of Alabama – Birmingham in the Social Work
Department. She is married to Arther Bray and has four sons.
