COVID-19 SAFETY PROCEDURES FOR THE 2022 APCE ANNUAL EVENT

We are looking forward to your participation in this year’s Annual Event in Chicago. The health and safety of our participants, leaders, and exhibitors are critical.

The Annual Events Ministry Team is working closely with the staff at the Marriott. Their commitment to clean is at the following website and is continually updated https://clean.marriott.com. Procedures may be more restrictive as we continue to follow CDC, State of Illinois, City of Chicago guidance and best practices of the meeting industry. Please note that these policies are subject to change as the COVID-19 pandemic continues.

The following is our current working plan:

Proof of full vaccination with the number of doses as approved by the CDC is required of all participants, leaders, and exhibitors to be a part of the event.

Once proof of vaccination with the number of doses as approved by the CDC is confirmed, participants will be given a name tag that must be worn to enter APCE related space.

Due to the current city of Chicago guidelines that require quarantine after arrival and to be full-vaccinated to attend large events or eat in restaurants and ballrooms, we regret that unvaccinated guests are not permitted to attend.

Thank you for understanding these changing policies due to current circumstances.

Wearing masks indoors is required for participants when not eating (even for fully-vaccinated people).

Room capacities will be observed per protocols established by the CDC, the State of Illinois, and the City of Chicago.

Health care facilities are located just a few blocks away. If an attendee should exhibit symptoms associated with COVID-19 or needs assistance, please contact a member of the Annual Events Team or visit the registration desk.

Hotel staff will clean all dining and meeting facilities daily per the Marriott Policy.
